The Narrator

It's easy to loose focus,
when the orange of the street lights,
bare down to choke us.
And for all the nights,
where I would love to see,
a piece of existance,
a part of the galaxy.
To put into perspective,
what I should already know,
that life will come,
and life will go.
That times true value,
is not money and wealth.
Cherish your friends,
look after your health.

So tonight, I think that I might,
stop, and set my mind right.
And remind myself that,

there is more beyond these city nights,
beyond the unnatural glow of city lights.
